Review #2 Turtles All the Way Down

As anyone who reads young adult fiction knows John Green is quite the master of teen romance and Turtles All the Way Down was no exception. Green tackles the difficulties of being an outcast and struggling with severe OCD in high school while trying to solve the

mystery of your crush's missing dad.

Aza, the 16 year old protagonist, struggles with OCD that manifest in a form of fear of the human biome especially the possibility of contracting C.diff. She and her best friend Daisy, a Star Wars fan fiction author, find an ad rewarding anyone who can give a location for Russell Pickett who just happens to be the millionaire father of one of Aza's old friends. The girls go on an adventure filled with romantic encounters and friendship ending fights and near death experiences.

Green does an astounding job telling Aza's story that grips the reader for the long run. Everything about the plot is perfect and unexpected. John Green has figured out the best formula for YA novels.

I highly recommend the book to anyone. It is a fairly short read and I think it is appropriate for most ages as there is no real explicit content.
